2012 Trainer Nights returning in April

If you're looking to get started in R/C, the Dayton Wingmasters offers "Training Nights" every wednesday (weather permitting) from mid April until early October. These training nights begin at 5:00 and will run until dusk. If you need help from the beginning, need to know how to properly setup your new plane or just need a instructor to watch over your shoulder before your first solo, be sure to come check out this clinic.

Instructor pilots will/can use a "buddy-box" system to connect to your transmitter - this allows them to take control of flight situations with which you may not be comfortable while returning control to you during the remainder of the flight. This is the way that numerous R/C pilots have learned to fly over the years and is a great way to learn proper "hands-on" flying technique.

Remember, if you've never used a simulator it's probably best to first try flying with the help of an instructor - you'll be glad you did.
